Ask a questionWhat is the difference between CTE and CTO?
CTE (Consent to Establish) is the consent a factory needs before it is built or expanded. CTO (Consent to Operate) is the consent to run it. Both come from the state pollution control board, which in Gujarat is the GPCB, and both have to be renewed on time.
What is an Environmental Clearance (EC)?
An EC is a separate approval for projects above certain size or impact thresholds. EnvironDesk tracks EC applications alongside CTE and CTO so nothing sits outside the calendar.
