Accessibility Statement

We want mountsmy.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers or voice control. We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as the standard to aim for.

• Use proper page structure: headings, landmarks, lists and tables built with the right HTML elements.
• Provide text descriptions for meaningful images and hide purely decorative graphics from screen readers.
• Build menus, accordions and forms so they can be used with a keyboard.
• Keep text readable against its background and let text resize.
• Respect the “reduce motion” setting in your device, which calms the animations on the site.
• Make pages work on phones, tablets and desktops.

We have not had an independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim full conformance with WCAG. We know some areas need more work:

• Some animated diagrams and charts convey information visually, and not every one has a full text equivalent yet.
• The interactive globe and some decorative effects may be hard to use with assistive technology.
• Colour contrast on a few decorative elements may fall below the recommended level.

We fix problems as we find them and as people report them.
